I’m leaving the farm for the big city! Today I’m off to New York City to meet my new agent, John Cusick; my new editor Leila Sales; and see the hallowed halls of Penguin Publishing.
Even though I’m a country girl at heart, I love the city. London, New York, Chicago are happy places for me. But this city visit will be a dream come true.
This is what I told my friends I will be doing the first hour I’m there. Now where can I find a purple parasol?
