THE FORBIDDEN ORCHID chosen by the Junior Library Guild

Hi all!

Summer is cracking on and the farm is looking amazing.  With my husband home for the summer I have extra time on my hands for writing and embroidering and goofing around with the goats.  It’s pretty heavenly!  (I included some pics below, but if you follow me on Instagram you’ll see tons of farm pics there.  Click on the link in my blog header and you’ll go to my page.)

I also had some wonderful news about ORCHID this week.  The Junior Library Guild has chosen ORCHID as one of their selections.  The JLG is a curator for libraries and they are very picky about the books they choose.  It’s a dream to be included and I’m so pleased and proud.  Also, the Great Summer Reads for Youngsters round-up has been running in several newspapers across the country, and ORCHID has been included in all of them.

I’m also waiting eagerly to announce the sale of my third book, which will be coming soon! I can tell you it will be released summer of 2018 and it’s being published through Simon and Schuster Books for Young Readers.  Until then…watch this space!

How is your summer going?  Would love to hear what you are up to!

Hugs,

Sharon
